As part of the Health Promoting Schools, Healthy Eating Week took place from Monday 22nd May-Friday 26th May. We encouraged pupils, staff and parents to increase their fruit, vegetable and herb consumption. All pupils received a Healthy Eating Diary to record their daily intake of potatoes, fruits, vegetables and herbs during Healthy Eating Week. The children planted potatoes, strawberries, lettuce, carrots, turnips and chives in the school garden and completed different healthy eating tasks and activities throughout the week.
