During Science week, our school was privileged to host a CSI Geology workshop, organised by Monaghan Town Library and delivered by Fergus McAuliffe and his team from iCrag.
As part of the workshop, our pupils got to make Smartphone microscopes and used them to study the composition of salt and sand. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and were delighted to keep the microscopes so they can continue to explore items of their choice during the year. Thanks so much to Monaghan Town Library and iCrag for the wonderful opportunity.
