We found this letter Elfie wrote to his friends in the North Pole.
" Dear Mr. & Mrs Claus,
I am writing to tell you about the wonderful time that I am having in St. Michael's N.S. Everyone is so friendly here. They've even put me on their Class Dojo website. So far, I've got 29 points! I've made lots of new friends here. I sit beside Eva and Leah who are both very kind.
There are lots of Christmas activities happening at the school. On Tuesday I will be going to the shopping centre to do Carol Singing. A new school tracksuit has been ordered for me to wear.
I am learning many new subjects. I especially love poetry. I got two Class Dojo points for my Peace Poem. My teacher here is Mr. Grundy. He is a funny and interesting man, much nicer than old Mr. Snowboots up in the North Pole.
My only complaint from St. Michael's is that I cannot go outside to play like the other children. It's way too hot here and I don't want to have a red nose like Rudolf. We know how Rudolf gets teased. How are the reindeer by the way?
The boys and girls here have all written their Santa letters, but all I'm asking for is for you to take me home on Christmas Eve. I love it here but I do miss home. I miss Mrs. Claus, cookies and cuddling with Santa and his big belly.
I can't wait to see you both, the elves and reindeer on Christmas Eve.
Love from Rackwallace,
Elfie McElf"
