Space
The Socio/dramatic area for this month was based on Space. The children got the opportunity to listen to the story 'The Secret Astronaut' by Millie, a lovely story that sparked the children's imagination. The children got to role-play an astronaut in the spaceship, ground control staff, scientists, aliens and robots.
In the construction area robots, rockets, spaceships, planets and space control panels were made. In the writing area books about space inspired the children's creativity.

St. Michael's Restaurant
The children role-play in the restaurant. They got the opportunity to set up a restaurant in the classroom, make food out of play dough, construct restaurants using the blocks and in the junk art area created their own restaurants. Well done everyone for working so well at the different stations over the past month.
Dental Surgery
The children are involved in Aistear play. The children role-play people in the dentist's surgery and make instruments for the dentist and make teeth out of play dough.
Integrated Learning
The Aistear programme being implemented in the Junior Classroom. The children are learning through play.
